We just completed the procurement of new LED lighting fixtures for all the docks, parking areas and buildings through the Energy Trust of Oregon. The project also combines grant funding from the Oregon State Marine Board’s safety and security matching grant program to also install new light poles at the inner basin dock heads. We expect to benefit from an anticipated 9% savings in electrical costs and recoup 50% of our investment once the light fixtures are installed. These lights are brighter, more efficient, and, pursuant to manufacturer statements, require almost no maintenance for at least the next 20 years.
