The Oregon International Port of Coos Bay is seeking to hire a Marina and RV Park Office Assistant who will accommodate the needs of customers in the Charleston Marina.  The Office Assistant participates as a key team member who will contribute to the overall success of the Port’s operation of the Charleston Marina Complex. 
  
The Charleston Marina Complex is an active fishing village with over 400 moorage slips for recreational and commercial vessels, a six lane launch ramp, multiple restaurants and businesses, over 100 full service RV camping sites, and a bustling shipyard for the building, repairing, and storing of vessels.  Charleston is also a premier destination for a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, crabbing, and clamming.
  
As an Office Assistant, you must possess strong customer service, communication, and organization skills with a keen attention to detail.  Your essential job functions will include answering all incoming phone calls and assisting all walk-up customers, assigning moorage and RV spaces and ensuring Port policy is followed in the execution of lease agreements with customers, uploading contracts, registrations and insurance information into NetSuite, providing customer assistance and performing general clerical office duties. 
  
As an Office Assistant, you will need to have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in a similar position or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.  Previous experience in an RV Park, campground, hotel, or similar hospitality setting is preferred.
